Japanese Indigo Cotton Fabric Matsusaka Sanbon Stripes White – Yard

Japanese Indigo Sanbon-shima (Three Stripes) fabric is a refined expression of traditional craftsmanship, woven from 100% Matsusaka cotton.

Please note that this fabric is a 40cm wide fabric unique to Japan.

Featuring three slender indigo stripes evenly spaced across an unbleached base, this Japanese Indigo fabric embodies simplicity and sophistication.

Matsusaka cotton boasts a rich history dating back to the Edo period, where it was a staple among merchants in Edo (modern-day Tokyo), with annual sales exceeding 500,000 rolls (approximately 6 million meters). This Japanese Indigo fabric is pre-washed and dyed using natural indigo, a traditional Japanese dyeing technique.

This fabric is already washed. It's natural indigo dye, migration may occur due to strong friction.

Note:It will be sold at 0.5 meter or 1 meter unit.
