Matsusaka cotton boasts a rich history dating back to the Edo period, where it was a staple among merchants in Edo (modern-day Tokyo), with annual sales exceeding 500,000 rolls (approximately 6 million meters) . This fabric is pre-washed and dyed using natural indigo, a traditional Japanese dyeing technique.
This fabric is already washed. It's natural indigo dye, migration may occur due to strong friction.
