The jacket using indigo thick stripes
A customer in New York sent me a very cool photo.
"I made a jacket out of the fabric I bought from you!"
I am really happy to receive these pictures of our work from our customers on a regular basis.
This is the moment when I feel happy to be in business. I am overflowing with gratitude.
An overwhelming presence
The customer asked a tailor he knows to design and sew this transitional jacket.
When I saw it for the first time, my honest impression was "It's so cool!
I was very impressed when I saw it for the first time.
I was even impressed by how they were able to incorporate the thick stripes, which seem so difficult to place, into a jacket this cool. I was even impressed.
Unlike narrow stripes, thick stripes create a powerful panels.
Am I the only one who can somehow imagine an old Japanese firefighting uniform?
It is a wonderful design.
This fabric was used.
This fabric was made in reference to the old futon side that I introduced in our blog before.
The dark blue ground with light persimmon tannin dyeing and tea-dyed thick stripes.
The width of the fabric is 120 cm, which is between a double width and a single width, making it very easy to use.
