Sashiko fabric in charcoal

It has been a long time since we received the charcoal color of sashiko fabric!
I have received many inquiries while it was out of stock.

The threads used for sashiko fabric are thicker and heavier than those used for plain weaving, so the quantity of sashiko fabric is limited. Therefore, only small quantities are available each time.

Sashiko fabrics that have been dyed in black ink are rare in Japan.
At first glance, it may seem thick and difficult to handle, but there are many people looking for this sashiko fabric.
There are many inquiries from the apparel industry, and after all, it seems to be tailored and sold for outerwear, pants, etc.

Although it is a little heavy, weighing about 400g(14.1 oz) per meter, it is lighter than real kendo wear and has been improved to be easily tailored as clothing fabric.

This fabric was developed by Japanese people for Japanese people. Of course I would like to introduce it to Japanese customers who have not yet been exposed to it, and I would also like to offer it to our overseas customers.

The indigo-dyed version of this fabric is currently in production and will be restocked soon. Please look forward to it!
